This week, September 18-22 is Hunger Awareness Week.
The Elliot Lake Food Bank will get a shot in the arm from local musician Todd Stirling.
He will host a C.D. Launch and Concert this Friday September 22nd at Grace Christian Centre starting at 7:00 PM with all proceeds going to the food bank.
In recognition of the week, the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank is holding an open house today, (Tuesday, September 19) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The food bank is located at 87 Centre Street in Espanola’s downtown.
