The eight French-language Catholic school boards in Ontario, including Nouvel-Ontario, are celebrating some history this week. As another school year begins, this is the 20th anniversary for the boards since first being created in 1998. In the ensuing years, the boards have produced students with superior achievements who consistently score high grad rates. The boards say many of these achievements are due to dedicated staff. To honour those people, the boards created a Recognition Tour to take place during October. These people have made a difference for their students and two people from each board will be recognized for their actions and professionalism.
