Woman Charged after R.I.D.E. Check

A 40-year-old woman from Spanish is facing multiple charges after a R.I.D.E. check.

The OPP says on August 24th, the woman was stopped during an impaired driving check on Front Street. Investigation found she was driving while suspended and had a passenger under 16-year-old not buckled up.

Police say she is facing charges for driving while suspended and driving with a passenger under 16-years-old without a seat belt. The woman will appear in court on September 20th.
