Plans are Moving Forward for Additional Child Care at Woodland Public School

The second phase of the Woodland Public School child care project in North Bay is almost ready to start.

The Near North District School Board says this capital project includes building a child care facility at the north-east corner of the school for children ranging from infancy to 12-years-old.

The board says the Early Learning Child Care Centre will not only have before and after school care, but also four, full day, early learning child care classrooms with 10 infant spaces, 15 toddler spaces and 32 preschool spots.

Construction on this project is expected to start this summer.
