Blind River man charged for assaulting ex-girlfriend

A Blind River man is facing domestic assault charges.

The incident happened just after midnight last Thursday at a home on Nadon Street.

East Algoma OPP says a 21-year-old entered his ex-girlfriend’s home through a window, and wouldn’t leave.

A police investigation found the man had punched holes in the home and assault the woman twice within the past three months.

He now faces charges for forcible entry, spousal assault and mischief, and failing to comply with his probation.
