OPP releases three year strategic plan

OPP detachments across Ontario now have a new overall direction for the next three years.

The OPP has released its 2017 to 2019 Strategic Plan, meant to modernize service delivery across the province.

The focus remains on five priorities; leadership, healthy workforce, analytics, technology and reinvestment, all meant to prevent crime. The OPP says it will continue to use proactive programs, like focused patrols and cybercrime counter measures, to adjust to the growing demand for policing.
