The MPP for Timmins-James Bay says mining in Ontario has come a very long way over the years. Gilles Bisson says that’s very evident with the Prospectors and Developers Association convention in Toronto this week. Bisson says in its early days maybe two thousand people would attend but now PDAC attracts tens of thousands of people from around the world. Bisson says this is good news for Ontario because of its geology and the TSX. Bisson says we can always improve and one area that he wants to see advanced is the Ring of Fire which has seen very little development.
