Sudbury-based mining groups could benefit from a letter of intent signed with one of the states in Mexico. Marc Serre, the MP for Nickel Belt, also signed the letter which tries to increase mining collaboration between Mexico and Sudbury. Last December Serre was in Mexico City selling the benefits of that country cooperating with mining efforts in Canada. Serre says Canada’s mining industry exports more than $82-billion in goods around the world. Serre and all the partners signed the letter of intent at the annual Prospectors and Developers Association convention now going on in Toronto.
