Sturgeon Falls team wins Northern Ontario Mixed Doubles Curling crown

A curling team from Sturgeon Falls has won the Northern Ontario Mixed Doubles championship.  Karen and Dean Pigeau defeated a team from Sault Ste. Marie 7-3 to win the championship and now heads to Saskatoon for the nationals.  The quest for the Canadian championship takes place from April 5^th to the 9^th and the top three finishers get a bye to next year’s curling trials for the Winter Olympics.
