NDP and Liberals duke it out over hydro bills

Timmins James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says the Wynne Liberals aren`t doing enough to ease electricity bills.  Bisson says people are doing what the Liberals ask in an effort to consume less power but their hydro bills just keep rising.  He says it`s time the Liberals admit defeat and that their Hydro policy has failed.   Energy minister Glenn Thibeault side-stepped the issue of admitting failure and instead claimed the Liberals have made hydro more reliable with fewer blackouts and brownouts.   Thibeault also says if more people conserve, we won`t need as much energy and over time that will bring down costs.  He also says by phasing out coal, the Liberals are saving $4.3 billion in healthcare that doesn`t have to spent on air pollution health issues.  Thibeault adds his government can still do more and will find ways to help families.
