A social event involving Grade 9 and 10 J-N students in Blind River is being called a success. The students took part in a social event involving the residents of Golden Birches in concert with the staff. They spent time talking to some of the residents and also served coffee, dessert and cleaned up afterward. J.N. says the students learned quite a bit during the inter-generational event and the Golden Birches committee hopes to repeat the event.
