Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus might formally announce this weekend that he`s seeking the NDP leadership. The website iPolitics has learned that on Family Day, Angus registered with Elections Canada to run for the party leadership with no fanfare. iPolitics says Angus is holding a party in Toronto this Sunday at the Horseshoe Tavern, the site where he saw his first punk rock show. As a registered candidate, Angus is now the second NDP`er looking to succeed Thomas Mulcair as leader. B.C. MP Peter Julian has been a declared candidate since late December. The NDP elect a new leader October 29th.
