NEO Kids Foundation to share in $50,000 donation

The generosity of former Sudbury residents living in Toronto has helped secure more services for the NEO Kids Foundation.  The group Toronto Celebrates Sudbury has raised $50,000 for three organizations, one of which is the NEO Kids Foundation.  Foundation president Patricia Mills says it`s donations like this that help improve health care for children so they can stay in the northeast instead of being treated in Southern Ontario.  Toronto Celebrates Sudbury has been raising money for five years for various organizations.  The other recipients that will share in the latest donation are Science North and Cinefest Sudbury.  The $50,000 cheque was donated during a Sudbury Wolves hockey game.
