Man charged with three counts of spousal assault

The East Algoma OPP has charged a 42-year-old Bruce Mines man with three counts of spousal assault for assaulting his girlfriend at different times.  The first time was Valentine`s Day and after the court ordered him to stay away from the woman, he assaulted her again about a week later.  Both assaults took place in Blind River.  The man is also charged with assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and failing to comply with bail conditions.
