Espanola and area residents can learn more about the Northern Ontario Party. The party was formed about a year ago as an alternative to the main stream parties and it’s focused on Northern Ontario issues. Residents can ask its executive what the party hopes to accomplish in the next provincial election which is June, 2018. The Northern Ontario Party hopes to field candidates in all the northern ridings. The Espanola meeting is March 9th and begins at 6:30pm.
