The Fibre Arts Festival in Espanola has been awarded $10,000 from the Ontario Arts Council. It’s only one of six events to be given a grant. The festival has only been around for six years but in that time it’s seen 800 percent growth with participants and spectators. Organizers will use the money on workshops and to offset expenses. This year’s festival runs from October 20th to the 22nd.
