The Wynne Liberals have decided to keep the Service Ontario office in Blind River open. The office was set to close this month after an announcement last year that the province would close nine of the offices. But after a review of all the outlets, the province has decided to keep them all open with no change in operating hours. That means the centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.  When the Blind River closure was announced last year, riding MPP Mike Mantha vehemently opposed the move.
