It could be a costly experience for a driver in Espanola who passed a school bus. The bus was dropping off students after school and had its stop arm extended when a woman in a cube van passed it. It didn’t take long for the town police to track down the van. Once they did, the woman was charged under the Highway Traffic Act and if found guilty she faces a fine of $490 plus six demerit points could be added to her license.
