Fedeli weighs in a toll booth verdict

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the Progressive Conservatives can take partial credit for ensuring toll booths won’t be installed in Toronto.  After first saying she supported tolls for Toronto, Premier Kathleen Wynne nixed the idea.  Fedeli says during the debate, his leader Patrick Brown repeatedly denounced tolls.  Fedeli says because of the Tories’ refusal not to give up, we won’t see a dangerous precedence set.  Fedeli says time has shown that once Toronto gets something, it’s not long before other communities want the same thing.  He says had tolls gone ahead in Toronto, it wouldn’t take long for other cities to also demand them.
