A single event in Espanola has raised $4,200 for three groups in the town. The fundraiser was billed as 100 People Who Care Charity Evening. This is the first time the event was held and its host Marcella Yusko hopes to hold it annually. The beneficiaries who receive 80 percent of the donations are the Shelly Newton Memorial Fund, the Boogie Mountain Ski Club and Community Living Espanola.
