An historical sexual assault has resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old Blind River man. The man is charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident that’s alleged to have taken place about 30 years in the town. The East Algoma OPP says the victim was a seven-year-old girl and the accused was 17 at the time. Police began looking into the case at the beginning of December.
