Palliative care training for area Family Health Teams

Primary care providers with the City of Lakes Family Health Team have gotten some palliative care training.

Over the past weekend they learned about resources and new ways to care for patients who are at the end of their life. The course, called Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care, was funded by the North East LHIN.

Two upcoming training weekends have also been scheduled for Family Health teams in Timmins and Temiskaming.
