Woman climbs Mt. Everest to honour late cousin, raise money for NEO Kids

Health Sciences North is celebrating the efforts of Lianne Henri.

Henri climbed to the Mount Everest Base Camp, a staggering 5,545 meters, as a way to honour her late cousin Anne.

She also used the opportunity to collect donations for NEO Kids because Anne had worked there as a nurse before she passed away.

Henri will be at Health Sciences North tomorrow at 3:00pm to talk about her journey.
