Optimism grows that passenger rail service can be restored

There’s optimism at the Missanabie Cree First Nation.  Chief Jason Gauthier says there’s the possibility that passenger rail service can resume between Sault Ste. Marie and Hearst.  Gauthier has met with stakeholders including the feds and C.N. and says there’s a clearer picture on what has to happen to see passenger service again.  Gauthier understands how the loss of service has been for residents and businesses.  But he’s asking everyone for patience and optimism because the Chief says progress is being made.
