A new principal takes over at Manitoulin Secondary next month. Jamie Mohamed officially takes over as principal of the high school on February 6th. Right now he’s principal at Little Current Public School, a position he’s held since 2008. For Mohamed, heading to Manitoulin Secondary is coming full circle. He began his career with the Rainbow board at the high school in 1997 where he taught subjects like economics and computer programming. As for who takes over at Little Current Public when Mohamed leaves, Margaret Stringer is coming out of retirement to run the school until the end of the school year.
