Huron-Superior students to be told about Holocaust this week

Students in the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board will be told about a dark time in human history this Friday.  Teachers will tell them about the Holocaust, that period during World War Two when Hitler killed six million Jews.  Board chair John Caputo says it`s important that students know about the Holocaust and to prevent something like that from ever happening again.  Friday is Holocaust Awareness Day and the day is recognized world-wide to remind people what Hitler did.  The teachers will also tell their students about racism, antisemitism and also xenophobia which is the irrational fear of people from another country.
