Youth homelessness campaign hits Espanola

Students and the public in Espanola get a powerful message about youth homelessness this week.  On Thursday high school students at Franco West as well as elementary students from Saint Joseph’s and Sacred Heart hear from Joe Roberts, an entrepreneur who use to be a young homeless man.  Roberts has been pushing a shopping cart across Canada to symbolize chronic homelessness.  His visit includes pushing his cart starting at the corner of Tudhope and Centre and ending at the recreational complex where Roberts delivers an address on how to help end youth homelessness.  People who want more information about the Push for Change campaign can call Daniel Dalcourt, the principal at Franco West at 862-7437.
