Biting a police officer on the arm has resulted in a charge against an Elliot Lake woman. Police were told an 18-year-old woman was drunk and stumbling along an Elliot Lake street when she made her way into a pick-up truck. Police found her in the truck and took her to hospital. However that’s where the woman became combative with hospital employees and the police. During this time, the woman bit an officer on the arm. She’s charged with assaulting a peace officer.
