Multiple fundraisers are happening in the area this weekend. Gore Bay firefighters are having a barbecue and a car wash at the fire hall tomorrow, starting at 9:00am. All of those proceeds are going to Fort McMurray.
Also tomorrow is the Elliot Lake Moose FM radiothon for the animal shelter, The Society for Animals in Distress. There will be a bake sale and a barbecue out front of the Moose in Elliot Lake, on Ontario Avenue. That runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm.
