Cancer centre celebrates one year anniversary

The Northeast Cancer Centre is celebrating the first anniversary of the My Cancer I-Q website. The website is a way to self-assess your risk for cancer, which includes a personalized plan you can share with your doctor.

Spokeswoman Nicole Gauthier says kidney cancers and melanoma have been added to the list of cancers on the website because they are on the rise, but preventable.  That adds to the already long list of breast, cervical, lung, and colorectal cancers.   The website can be accessed from any computer, smartphone, or tablet, and is completely confidential.
