After winning the LOTTO 6-49 draw on September 5th, Faye Officer of Elliot Lake has now collected her $7 million jackpot. Up until the win, Officer worked at a local convenience store, but the jackpot has allowed her to retire. Also retiring is her well known husband Paul Officer the now former fire chief of the local department. Faye Officer used the self-checker to see if her ticket was a winner and at first she thought she won $7,000.
But as the machine confirmed more winning numbers, Officer realized she hit the big one. Since winning, the Officers have bought a new truck, golf clubs and will travel to Australia. They`re also helping their two children.
