Carrying around a knife in the open in Elliot Lake has resulted in charges against a 26-year-old man from Leamington. OPP officers responded to a call just after four Tuesday morning of man pacing the area of Dunn Road holding a knife. The man was arrested and faces charges of uttering threats, possession of a dangerous weapon and assaulting a peace officer.
