The Dirt Digger Challenge is this weekend in Elliot Lake. The 5 km obstacle course is at the ski hill on Saturday. All of the funds raised go toward minor hockey and the society for animals in distress. Go to the society or runningroom.com for all of the information.
There is another fundraiser in Elliot Lake this weekend. It’s a BBQ at the Moose Family Centre, with the funds going to this fall’s Terry Fox Run. There will also be a corn roast and a live auction. It runs from noon until 5 on Saturday. The Terry Fox Run itself is set for September 20th.
