Mantha says two new northern ridings will still have accessibility issues

Although Algoma Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha welcomes the creation of two new ridings in Northern Ontario, the New Democrat says both ridings will still face accessibility issues they experience now.  The ridings of Timmins-James Bay and Kenora-Rainy River are being sub-divided to create two new ridings to serve more remote areas.  Mantha says he represents Algoma Manitoulin, but adds he doesn’t mind stepping up to the plate if another MPP or riding needs help.  Mantha believes this issue is something all 11 northern MPPs can work on to improve regardless of political affiliation.
