Several concerns have prompted Elliot Lake council to defer hiring an integrity commissioner. Robert Swayze would investigate code of conduct complaints now before the municipality. However councillor Connie Nykaforak is questioning the $320-an-hour rate and councillor Norman Mann wants a termination clause in the five year deal. The matter has been deferred to council’s next meeting.
