Signage for cycling route going up this weekend in Huron Shores

Saturday is a big day for the Municipality of Huron Shores and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail Cycling Route.  That’s when members of council, municipal staff and volunteers will finish installing 97 bicycle route signs.  The signs will dot a 55 kilometre stretch of the Lake Huron – North Channel region.   Mayor Gil Reeves says that once the signs are all up, cyclists can peddle right from Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie on a clearly marked route.  The trail is already well used and Reeves adds the weekend work will create a visually pleasing route along the North Shore.  The entire trail connects 114 communities, hundreds of parks and includes wetlands, forests and beaches.
