It’s a deadly start to the week in Northeastern Ontario with at least three deaths and possibly a fourth. On Manitoulin Island, one person died in Wikwemikong in a single vehicle crash Monday morning. Also Monday morning, an 18-year-old girl died south of North Bay when her vehicle hit a tree. Monday afternoon an SUV crashed into a pick-up truck near Mattawa on Highway killing the SUV driver. Meanwhile OPP divers in Mattawa continue searching the Ottawa River for a Mattawa man who was swept away by a strong current Saturday while swimming.
