The Elliot Lake Wildcats have an assistant coach in place for the next NOJHL season. Trevor Ritchie of Barrie will be moving to Elliot Lake along with his family as the Cats prepare for the upcoming season. Ritchie has a wealth of hockey experience including stints with the Blind River Beavers, Flin Flon Bombers and Orillia women’s hockey team. Over the years he’s been a head coach, manager, scout and head of player personnel. Also over the past 10 years Ritchie has run a spring program for under 16 and under 18 players that prepares them for junior hockey.
