Conceptual plans for a therapeutic park at the long-term care facility at the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre are now public. The facility will have hand rails, wider walking paths and shelters just to name a few of the features. The cost to build the park is in the $125,000 to $150,000 range. Hospital fund development coordinator Terri Noble says a variety of fundraising events have been going on to help build the park. The current fundraiser is a Father’s Day draw which features several prizes. Donations for the therapeutic park are also accepted and for more information call Noble at 869-1420.
