Elliot Lake Picked as the “Pride Capital of the North”

Elliot Lake has been selected as the first “Pride Capital of the North”.

The Northern Ontario Pride Network has selected Elliot Lake to host the first annual Northern Pride Festival from May 21^st to 28^th. NOPH says the highlight of the week long celebration will be the first official “Northern Pride” Parade at 11:00am on May 27^th.

In future years, other communities will host the parade on a rotating basis.
