Youth in the Algoma region will have further help securing employment.
Sagamok Anishnawbek and OTEC have partnered with ORHMA to assist youth with employment through a hospitality skills training program. The youth-targeted employment model for the Algoma region is called the ALiGN network.
President of the ORHMA Tony Elenis says the ALiGN network will help unemployed youth in the Algoma region. Elenis says the issues of youth underemployment and labour shortages in the hospitality industry will be addressed through the program.
Employers throughout the Algoma region can connect with Sagamok Anishnawbek or directly with the OTEC to recruit ALiGN graduates.
