The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has hired from within to replace its retiring education director. The board`s superintendent of education, Rose Burton Spohn, will assume her new duties as of July 1st. In going with Buron Spohn, board chairman John Caputo says the board has been impressed with her work as a superintendent. Caputo adds the board is confident in Burton Spohn`s ability to take over as education director. Current director John Stadnyk retires June 30th when school wraps up for the year.
