Don’t be too surprised if the Wynne Liberals call a snap election, maybe as early as this summer. The next election is scheduled for June 2018, however Algoma Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha is reacting to a Toronto Star article that looks into the possibility of an early election. Mantha made the comments in Espanola where he was acclaimed as the NDP’s candidate in the next election. Mantha says regardless of when the election is, he will be campaigning on high hydro rates, the status of our healthcare system, jobs and road maintenance.
