Group wants action on First Nation suicides

An advocacy group says all government levels have to meet with Indigenous leaders and their youth to stop First Nations suicides in Northern Ontario.  The Office of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth wants a detailed short and long-term strategy that gives the communities support.  The Office adds once the strategy is developed, the next step is an implementation plan to swings it into action.  The group`s call for action follows the suicides of two 12-year-old girls from the Wapekeka First Nation earlier this month.
