Forgery charge laid after prescription altered

Tampering with a prescription has resulted in a forgery charge against a 38-year-old man from the Mississauga First Nation.  The prescription was altered when a man had it filled at a Blind River drug store and when the fraud was discovered, OPP were called.  Police traced the customer back to the First Nation where he was charged for using a forged document.
